Pick up information for GSA sale items at the Indiana DNR\Fire Control Headquarters.

Fire Control Headquarters is located in Morgan \ Monroe State Forest between Martinsville and Bloomington in Central Indiana. Please click here for a map to our office.

We are a State of Indiana Government Office. We ARE NOT open on weekends or holidays. We schedule property removal by appointment only.

DO NOT show up to our office with out an appointment. Just because the office is open does not guarantee that you can remove GSA sale items.

Things you may\will need:

1.    GSA Purchasers receipt. You MUST pay GSA for your items in advance. We will not collect payment for any item. We will not release any GSA sale item with out a proper receipt of purchase, "paid in full". Titles are retained by GSA, you will need to contact GSA directly to obtain your title or certificate. You are not required to have vehicle titled before removal.

2.    You MUST call our office to make arrangements to remove sale items. PRIMARY CONTACTS: Lonnie Kern, Drew Daily 765-342-4701. Please make sure that you give us reliable contact information. Occasionally we have to change pick up arrangements.

3.    If you purchased a vehicle and you plan to haul it on a trailer you WILL NEED a SELF LOADING trailer. There IS NOT a loading ramp available at this site and we MAY NOT have personnel that can assist you.

4.    If you arrange for a third party to pick up sale items on behalf of the purchaser they WILL need the GSA Purchasers Receipt to remove the items AND a LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION from the purchaser stating that they may remove property on the purchasers behalf. This letter should include reliable contact information for the purchaser. If there are any questions and we cannot contact the purchaser we will not release property.

5.    Recommend that you bring some mechanic type tools, spare tires and\or portable air tanks. Please remember that these vehicles have been used by rural and  volunteer fire departments. They have most likely been sitting for 2 or more years by the time you purchase them. They will most likely NOT start and most likely are missing some parts.
